Help, configuration
and tips.
| | Backup
We
recommend that you make a backup of your configuration every time you make an
important change, before updating your version and at regular intervals. If in
the future you need to revert back to an older configuration or just transport
the mail server onto a new system, you can do so with little trouble.
Save Configuration
- This will ensure that any exported settings will contain all your configuration
details, domain maps, mailing lists and user groups. Save
Undelivered Outgoing Mails -
This will ensure that any exported settings will contain any emails which are
still stored in the outgoing mail queue. Save
Accounts - This
will ensure that any exported settings will contain all the local accounts. This
information only includes login details, email address, aliases and redirection
information. Save
Accounts Contents (Mails and Data) - This will ensure that any exported settings
will contain all the contents of the accounts. Account contents include mails,
address books entries, folders, personal details, signatures and auto-responses.
Please note that this could cause the backup file to become very large. Save
Logs - This will ensure that any exported settings will contain all the log
files located in the logs folder and the accountslogs folder. Export
- This will build a preview of the backup file (before actually creating it).
You will then have the option of continuing and creating the backup file. Import
- This allows you to open a previously saved backup file and preview its contents.
You will then have the option of continuing and importing all the data and files.
